A healthy bohemian wedding full of vegetarian fun

Ellie shared some information about the styling inspiration for their big day. Because we have been to many amazing places, we want to bring back some of our travel experiences to inspire the wedding. Our theme was inspired by our trip to Cappadocia in Turkey. Considering this otherworldly location, a romantic bohemian style evolved, and The Events Lounge helped them achieve this goal at Orchard Estate in Byron Bay.

Ellie wore Rue de Seine's Luca dress at the ceremony.

She told us: I think I tried on about six of their dresses, all of which were incredibly beautiful, but Luca was the first one I tried on, and when I put it on, I immediately knew it was the dress I was going to wear. walking down the aisle. We also customized the dress train because I wanted to be more dramatic at this moment. I like the complexity and detail, low back, and long sleeves of this dress.

Our favorite memories at the wedding:

Our favorite moment must be to have dinner away from all the guests. Our planner and caterer prepared a table of food for us overlooking the banquet and sunset. One of the suggestions we got was to have a moment when it was just the two of you so that you could indulge in the day. This moment is really special because we can enjoy incredible food, have private conversations and look back on all the guests at our wedding reception.

Food played a big role in our wedding! We chose Greenhouse Canteen, one of our favorite vegetarian restaurants on the Gold Coast, to host our wedding. We chose to eat at a banquet rather than sit down so that guests could mix and use different seating areas. Prominent dishes are pulled Jack fruit sliders, Parma eggplant, DIY cornflakes, and buffalo wings.
